Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 pounds bone-in beef short ribs
- Optional: Hot cooked ramen noodles, sesame seeds, julienned green onions and carrots, and sliced cucumber, radishes, mushrooms and red chili peppers
Directions
- In a greased 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker, whisk together the first 8 ingredients. Add short ribs and turn to coat; cook, covered, on low 6-7 hours or until meat is tender. If desired, serve with ramen noodles and optional toppings
