Ingredients
- 8 lb. Spiral Sliced Smoked Half Ham or any weight you’d like. See recipe for notes
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Maple Syrup
- ½ Cup Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tbsp Honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
- To make glaze combine honey, maple syrup, and dijon mustard in a small bowl.
- Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
- Set aside, covered in fridge.
- Line a deep pan with parchment paper.
- Unwrap ham from any packaging.
- Place ham flat side down in pan.
- Rub brown sugar all over top and sides of ham.
- Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil.
- Place ham in oven.
- Bake for about 15 minutes per pound. The ham pictured was about 8 lbs. and took two hours.
- After that, remove from oven and uncover.
- Pour glaze over ham. Return ham to oven uncovered on broil for no more than five-eight minutes, watching it to make sure it doesn’t burn. This is just long enough to heat glaze and caramelize it.
- Ham should be heated all the way through and top should be nice and brown.
- Remove from oven.
- Slice and serve.
