Cabbage Samosa

Ingredients of Cabbage Samosa

  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 handful peas
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt as required
  • 1 handful spring onions
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage red
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cup Refined oil

How to make Cabbage Samosa

Step 1

Wash the cabbage and chop Knead the dough

To begin with this easy recipe just wash the cabbage under running water. Next, finely chop the cabbage and organize rest of the ingredients. In the meantime, take a large bowl, sieve the flour and add some salt. Knead them into a smooth dough.

Step 2

Cook the cabbage masala

Take a pan over medium flame, add some oil and once the oil is hot enough. add in the cabbage, peas, spring onions, soy sauce and pepper powder and toss well. Keep aside.

Step 3

Flatten the dough ball and fill in the mixture

Make small balls of the dough and roll them into small puris. Add 1 or 2 tblsp of the cabbage filling and fold into a triangle.

Step 4

Deep fry the samosas and drain the excess oil

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Gently slide the prepared samosas and fry until golden brown. Remove and drain excess oil.

Serve hot with a chutney or sauce.
