Bombay Grilled Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 1.5 teaspoons butter (at room temperature)
  • 4 teaspoons cilantro chutney
  • 1 cucumber (peeled and chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1.5 medium potatoes (boiled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Salt (to taste)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the potatoes and cut them with other vegetables into pieces.
  2. Preheat your grill over low heat.
  3. On the first bread slice, spread butter first, then green chutney.
  4. Place cucumber pieces, tomatoes, potatoes, and onion slices on top. Season with chaat masala, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Finish the sandwich with the remaining bread slice.
  6. Throw a bit of butter on the grill and grill the bread on each side for about 2-3 minutes. Slice and serve while it’s hot.
