Ingredients
- 1 Kilos Pork Belly
- 3 Bunches Leeks
- 2 Pieces Ginger thumb-sized, peeled and sliced
- 2 Cups Chinese Cooking Wine
- 1 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1 Cup White Sugar
Instructions
- Blanch pork belly in boiling water for 2 minutes.
- Cut into 2 inch cubes.
- Truss individually with butcher’s twine.
- Arrange leeks and ginger at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Put pork on top, fat side down.
- Pour in wine and soy sauce.
- Top pork with sugar.
- Cook for 6 hours on low.
- Flip pork fat side up, ladle cooking liquid on top, and cook for another four hours
