FRENCH TOAST

If you want to prepare something simple, easy and sweet, you are in the right place! French toast is a typical, simple and delicious sweet that is usually prepared in the Christmas season but can also be served for breakfast or snack. Bon appetit!!!

  • 350 grams (12 1/3 ounces) bread slices
  • 250 ml (about 1 cup) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  1. In a bowl, whisk the milk and the eggs. Soak the bread slices in the milk and eggs mixture.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot, add the bread slices and fry the slices on both sides until golden brown. Remove the bread slices with a spatula and place them on a plate with absorbent paper.
  3. On a plate, mix the sugar and the cinnamon powder.
  4. Coat the bread slices on both sides in the sugar and cinnamon mixture and serve.
