This Avocado Toast with Egg is packed with proteins, healthy fats and nutrients and it’s made in less than 10 minutes. You can’t go wrong with this recipe and it can be enjoyed for breakfast, snack, lunch or even dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 slice multi grain bread or bread of your choice
- ½ whole Avocados mashed
- Lemon juice to taste, in avocado
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Red Pepper Flakes to taste
Fried Egg
- 1 whole egg
- 2 tsps. butter
Poached Egg
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tsp. vinegar to add in the water when you cook it
Scrambled Egg
- 1 whole egg
- 2 tsps. butter
Instructions
- Toast your bread in the toaster or oven.
- Cut the avocados open and remove the seed.
- Scoop out the avocados into a bowl, add in a splash of lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and red pepper flakes.
- Smash your avocado with a fork to the texture you like. Leave it chunky or smash it until smooth.
- Spread it onto your toasted bread.
- Top with cooked eggs (see blog post). Garnish and enjoy.
