INGREDIENTS
- 3 cans hominy (white or golden), drained well
- 3 cups water
- 2 tbsp butter
- sugar to taste
- salt to taste
- 1 cup grated coconut
- condensed milk as needed
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring water into a boil. Add drained hominy and stir. Bring into a boil then reduce heat to simmer. Continue cooking for about 25-30 minutes or until corn is tender while stirring occasionally and drain.
- Transfer boiled corn while still hot in a serving dish and top with butter, sugar or salt or both and grated coconut. You can also try the way I like my Binatog topped with butter, grated coconut and condensed milk. Serve while warm with your favorite beverage and enjoy!
