CHILLI CHEESE SANDWICH

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Bread slices
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1/4 cup Capsicum finely chopped
  • 5 – 6 Cheese Cubes grate to 1/2 cup
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped

Green Chutney

  • 1/2 cup Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Mint Leaves
  • 5- 6 Garlic pods
  • 5 – 6 Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

INSTRUCTIONS 

Prepare Green Chutney

  • Grind all ingredients mentioned above in ingredients list under green chutney.

Making Sandwich

  1. Apply butter/ ghee on one side of slices.
  2. Apply green chutney on same slices after butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl add grated cheese, finely chopped capsicum, onions, green chillies, salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Now place 2 tsp cheese mixture on top of bread slice.
  5. Then cover it with another slice of bread.
  6. Repeat for all bread slices.
  7. Apply ghee or butter on top & bottom side of sandwiches.
  8. Then grill it till both sides are crisp and golden.
  9. REmove and serve hot or warm with ketchup or any dip/ chutney.
