- 150 gm tofu
- 1 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered turmeric
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup de seeded,cubed capsicum ( green pepper)
- 200 ml yoghurt (curd)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 3 tablespoon refined oil
- 1 chopped into cubes tomato
- 1 cubed onion
How to make Tofu Tikka
- Step 1To make your very own tofu tikka, take the tofu and cut them into cubes. Then to make the marinade, take a bowl and add yogurt, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste and season with salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Step 2Then put the tofu pieces in the marinade and let them sit in it for about 1 hour. Then take a deep frying pan and add oil in it for deep frying. Put the tofu in the pan while they are coated with the marinade. Fry until they turn golden-brown in colour.
- Step 3Take the tofu pieces out. To give them the essential tikka look, thread the tofu pieces in the skewer along with adding some sliced capsicum, tomatoes and onions in between.
- Step 4Your Tofu Tikka is ready to be served.
