AIR FRYER CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pkgs (3.5 oz each) dark chocolate baking bars, (60-70% cocoa recommended)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F. Spray four 6-ounce ramekins with cooking spray.
  2. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and chocolate that has been broken into pieces. Microwave on high power in 30-second intervals, stirring well in between, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from microwave and stir in powdered sugar until well combined. Add in eggs and egg yolks and vanilla. Stir well.
  4. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined. Evenly spoon into prepared ramekins.
  5. Cook in preheated Air Fryer for 9-11 minutes, until outside is firm and inside is still moist and soft. Remove from Air Fryer and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Invert onto small plate then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
