Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drums and flats
- 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- ⅓ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Pat the wings completely dry (this will help them get crispy) with a paper towel.
- Using a large bowl, add olive oil, lemon juice, zest, lemon pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Add the wings and toss to coat completely. Optional: cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
- Preheat the Air Fryer at 400 F degrees for 2 minutes. Add the wings in a single layer to the air fryer (they should NOT be touching), and cook for 10 minutes at 400 F degrees.
- After the timer goes off, open and carefully flip over the chicken wings. Close the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes (the internal temp should reach 165 degrees).
- Remove the lemon pepper chicken wings and serve with your favorite side dishes or dips!
