{"id":2896,"date":"2023-09-01T05:40:35","date_gmt":"2023-09-01T05:40:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=2896"},"modified":"2023-09-01T05:40:36","modified_gmt":"2023-09-01T05:40:36","slug":"buko-pandan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/01\/buko-pandan\/05\/40\/2896\/35\/appdev2098\/filipino-food\/christmas\/","title":{"rendered":"BUKO PANDAN"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>bunch\u00a0pandan leaves\u00a0or pandan extract, see notes\u25a23\u00a0cups\u00a0water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0oz\u00a0unflavoured gelatine\u00a0see notes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0cup\u00a0condensed milk\u00a0adjust to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0cup\u00a0table cream\u00a0adjust to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12\u00a0oz\u00a0shredded young coconut meat\u00a0see notes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12\u00a0oz\u00a0cooked tapioca pearls in syrup\u00a0drained, see notes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add pandan leaves to a pot filled with 3 cups of water and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the pandan leaves then add the gelatine. Stir to dissolve and bring the mixture to a boil again. Follow package instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour gelatine into an 8\u00d78 baking pan or dish and allow to cool and set. When ready, cut into \u00bd-1 inch cubes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a small bowl, stir condensed milk and table cream until combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a larger bowl, add the rest of the ingredients: shredded coconut, tapioca pearls and your cubed gelatine. Pour half of your milk mixture and stir. At this point, you&#8217;ll want to taste your buko pandan to see how much more milk and cream you want to add. Add in small increments until you get the sweetness and consistency you desire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chill at least an hour before serving (see notes).
