{"id":2997,"date":"2023-09-02T14:08:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T14:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=2997"},"modified":"2023-09-02T14:08:16","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T14:08:16","slug":"pork-adobo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/02\/pork-adobo\/14\/08\/2997\/15\/appdev2098\/filipino-food\/mouthwatering\/","title":{"rendered":"Pork Adobo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1&nbsp;tsp&nbsp;cooking oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;lb&nbsp;pork belly&nbsp;cut into 2 inches cubes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;tsp&nbsp;annatto powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6&nbsp;cloves&nbsp;garlic&nbsp;minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;tsp&nbsp;peppercorns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;pieces&nbsp;bay leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;tbsp&nbsp;sugar&nbsp;or to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;cup&nbsp;vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;tbsp&nbsp;soy sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;cup&nbsp;water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;tsp&nbsp;ground pepper&nbsp;or to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;tsp&nbsp;salt&nbsp;or to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTIONS&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat oil and add pork belly. Cook pork until brown on edges for about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Push pork to the sides of the pan and add annatto powder. Stir to dissolve. Add garlic and cook for about a minute. Stir to coat every pieces of pork with annatto oil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add peppercorns, bay leaves, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and water. Bring into a boil for about 10 minutes before stirring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce heat to low and cover pan. Simmer until pork is tender for about 45 minutes while adding more water as needed. Stir occasionally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add ground pepper and salt to taste. Stir and continue to simmer until sauce starts to thicken. Transfer in a serving plate and serve with hot steamed rice.
