{"id":3385,"date":"2023-09-10T14:03:34","date_gmt":"2023-09-10T14:03:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=3385"},"modified":"2023-09-10T14:03:35","modified_gmt":"2023-09-10T14:03:35","slug":"cabbage-rolls-curry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/10\/cabbage-rolls-curry\/14\/03\/3385\/34\/appdev2098\/popular-indian-recipes\/cabbage\/","title":{"rendered":"Cabbage Rolls Curry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For the Cabbage Rolls and Filling<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 to 6 whole cabbage leaves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bd cups mixed vegetables chopped fine&nbsp;(carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, french beans)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp green chilli ginger paste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp chilli powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tsp coriander seeds powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp garam masala powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbsp mixed nuts chopped fine&nbsp;(cashew, almond, pista)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>salt to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tsp oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc cup finely chopped coriander<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbsp vegan cheese (optional)&nbsp;(Paneer if you are non vegan)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For the Gravy:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp fennel seeds&nbsp;(Saunf, Sombu))<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 cup onion paste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp green chilli ginger paste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp chilli powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp coriander powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp garam masala powder&nbsp;(optional)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>salt to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 medium tomatoes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7 to 8 whole cashew<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Filling:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat a pan with I tsp oil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add green chilli ginger paste and saut\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then add the chopped vegetables and saut\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add chilli, dhania, turmeric powders, mixed nuts and salt and saut\u00e9 further. Do not overcook.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add grated cheese \/ paneer and coriander leaves and set aside to cool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rolls:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut the cabbage close to the stem at the head.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gently remove each leaf from outside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boil water in a pan. Add the leaves. Close the pan and boil for few minutes till theleaves become soft.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drain from hot water and set aside to cool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take a leaf and trim the thick part close to the leaf.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take 2 tbsp of the filling, keep it slightly below the centre.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fold from down and then from sides and start rolling tightly to make sure that therolls do not open. Repeat with all leaves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep them on a plate with the ends down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat a cast iron \/ heavy bottomed skillet \/ Tawa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep the rolls and toast them on both sides till they become brown. No need for oil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can either cut them into halves or keep them full. It\u2019s your choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gravy:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Either grate the onion or make a paste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blend the tomatoes and cashew to a thick liquid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat oil and add fennel seeds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once it is done, add green chilli ginger paste and saut\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then add onion paste and saut\u00e9 farther.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix the dry spices in \u00bc cup water and add.
