{"id":3452,"date":"2023-09-13T06:32:57","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T06:32:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=3452"},"modified":"2023-09-13T06:32:58","modified_gmt":"2023-09-13T06:32:58","slug":"easy-chicken-korma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/13\/easy-chicken-korma\/06\/32\/3452\/57\/appdev2098\/healthy-indian-recipes\/chicken-healthy-indian-recipes\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Chicken Korma"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0ghee or sunflower oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0onion\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0peeled and finely chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0chicken breasts\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0(approx. 525g\/1.1lbs), chopped into bite-size chunks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0cloves\u00a0garlic\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0peeled and minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tsp\u00a0minced ginger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0ground cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 \u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0ground coriander<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 \u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0garam masala<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0mild chilli powder\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0(this is to add a tiny bit of warmth, but you can leave it out if you prefer no heat at all).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0turmeric<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0tsp\u00a0salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0tsp\u00a0white pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0tomato puree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120\u00a0ml\u00a0(\u00bd cup) full-fat plain\/natural yogurt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120\u00a0ml\u00a0(\u00bd cup) coconut cream\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0*see note<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0ground almonds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>60\u00a0ml\u00a0(4 tbsp) double (heavy) Cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Serve:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0freshly chopped coriander\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0cilantro<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boiled rice and\/or chapati<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTIONS&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat the ghee in a large frying pan over a medium heat, until hot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often, until softened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is sealed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the 2 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tsp of minced ginger, 1 tsp cumin, 1 \u00bd tsp ground coriander, 1 \u00bd tsp garam masala, \u00bd tsp chilli powder, \u00bd tsp turmeric, \u00bc tsp salt, \u00bc tsp white pepper and 2 tbsp tomato puree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook for 2 minutes, stirring, until the chicken is coated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the 120ml (\u00bd cup) yogurt, 120ml (\u00bd cup) coconut cream, 2 tbsp ground almonds and 1 tbsp sugar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir everything together, bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 6-8 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir in the 60ml (4 tbap) double (heavy) cream and turn off the heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve the korma topped with fresh coriander (cilantro).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve with rice and\/or chapati.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INGREDIENTS&nbsp;
