{"id":3594,"date":"2023-09-13T07:52:22","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T07:52:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=3594"},"modified":"2023-09-13T07:52:23","modified_gmt":"2023-09-13T07:52:23","slug":"paneer-lababdar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/13\/paneer-lababdar\/07\/52\/3594\/22\/appdev2098\/healthy-indian-recipes\/curries\/","title":{"rendered":"PANEER LABABDAR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>200 grams or 7-8 ounce paneer, cubed , fried and soaked in water for 4 hours or overnight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp of oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 tbsp butter, divided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cardamom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 cloves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 inch cinnamom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp cumin seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd onion, red onion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tomatoes, quartered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 inch ginger, slied<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5 cloves garlic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 tbsp melon seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 cashews or 15 almonds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7-8 red chilies(depending on how spicy you like your curry to be)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tsp salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">for frying<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 tsp red chili pdr (red kind, degi mirch)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tsp cumin powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp daniya or coriander pdr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tsp good quality garam masala<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tsp crushed kasoori meethi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 cup Grated paneer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tsp jaggery or sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tsp salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">tadka or tempering<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 tbsp ghee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 tsp cumin seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>pinch of hing or asafoetida<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 tsp red chili powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cube the paneer, fry in oil until it browns all sides. Put in a box which has a lid and pour water to cover it fully. Cover and leave it in the refrigerator overnight or atleast 4 hours. This step is a must for soft spongy paneer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spice Paste<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a pan, add 1 tbsp of butter. Melt it. Add the whole spices and ginger garlic. Fry for a minute. Later add the tomatoes, melon seeds, onion, cashews or almonds, red chilies. Pour 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil for about 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and grind it to a smooth paste. Set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To fry<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a large thick bottomed pan, add 2 tbsp of butter. add the masala paste to it. One cup water. Add red chili powder, cumin powder, daniya or coriander powder, garam masala. Mix it well with salt and bring it to a simmer for about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the jaggery, grated paneer, paneer cubes with 1 cup of the water it was soaking in. Check for salt and bring to a simmer for another 7 -10 minutes.
