{"id":3898,"date":"2023-09-15T04:51:28","date_gmt":"2023-09-15T04:51:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=3898"},"modified":"2023-09-15T04:58:18","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T04:58:19","slug":"keema-samosa-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/15\/keema-samosa-2\/04\/51\/3898\/28\/appdev2098\/flavorful-recipes\/appetizer\/","title":{"rendered":"Keema Samosa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>16-18\u00a0Samosa Patti Sheets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0Vegetable Oil + for Deep Frying<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00be\u00a0cup\u00a0Onion (divided)\u00a0(sliced)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>250\u00a0grams\u00a0Ground Meat\u00a0(Beef or Mutton &#8211; lamb\/goat)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0Ground Turmeric<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0Coriander Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0Red Chili Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0Garam Masala Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0Lemon juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0Cilantro\u00a0(chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0Dill\u00a0(chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bc\u00a0cup\u00a0Scallion (Spring Onion)\u00a0(chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0Green Chili<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0Live Charcoal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0Ghee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flour Paste\u00a0( A mixture of all purpose flour and water)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a heavy bottom pan, heat oil. Add \u00bc cup sliced onion and fry well till light golden brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add ground meat, ginger garlic paste, all the dry spice powders, and salt. mix and saute on high heat for 1 minute. Cover and cook on low heat until just done. Keep in mind that there should be no water left at all, the mixture should be dry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take the cooked meat mixture off the heat and immediately add chopped cilantro, dill leaves, scallion, green chili, remaining sliced onion, lemon juice to hot meat mixture and mix well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, place a small steel bowl in the center of the mixture, and put the heated charcoal into the bowl.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour 1 teaspoon ghee over the heated charcoal to create smoke, and immediately cover with the tight-fitting lid to allow the smoke to penetrate into the meat. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After 15 minutes, discard the coal. Meat Mixture is ready for filling the samosas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Folding the Patti Samosa<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take one patti, and make a cone, fill the mixture in it, wrap the sides to form a triangle, and seal the edges using the prepared flour paste. (Please refer to the step by step pictures in the post above)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not overfill the cone with the mixture as it may cause the patti to tear or overflow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat the same procedure till all the mixture is used up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat enough oil in a deep pan or a wok.
