{"id":4526,"date":"2023-09-24T13:56:53","date_gmt":"2023-09-24T13:56:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=4526"},"modified":"2023-09-24T13:56:54","modified_gmt":"2023-09-24T13:56:54","slug":"best-vegan-pad-thai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/24\/best-vegan-pad-thai\/13\/56\/4526\/53\/appdev2098\/thai-food-recipes\/vegetarian\/","title":{"rendered":"Best Vegan Pad Thai"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NOODLES\/VEGGIES:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>8\u00a0ounces\u00a0pad thai noodles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0red bell pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0carrots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2-1\u00a0cup\u00a0bean sprouts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0green onions, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0cloves\u00a0garlic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0oil\u00a0I used olive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TOFU:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0block extra firm tofu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0tsp\u00a0garlic powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0tsp\u00a0turmeric<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0tsp\u00a0salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SAUCE:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3\u00a0tbsp\u00a0low sodium soy sauce\/tamari<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0light brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0rice vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0lime juice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tsp\u00a0toasted sesame oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0hot sauce\u00a0more or less to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tbsp\u00a0creamy peanut butter\u00a0low or no salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make the Noodles\/Veggies:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shred or julienne the carrot, thinly slice the bell pepper and add to a saute pan with the oil. Add in the white parts of the chopped green onions, the bean sprouts and garlic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saute for about 5-7 minutes or until the bell pepper has softened and the garlic is slightly golden brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer to a bowl, we&#8217;ll reuse that pan for the tofu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make the Tofu:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove the tofu from the package and cut it in half. Take the half you&#8217;re using and wrap in a towel and lightly pat to remove excess moisture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use your hands to crumple into the pan, or mash with a fork until you get a scrambled egg consistency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add in the oil and spices and saute for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make the Sauce:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Whisk together all sauce ingredients until smooth.
