{"id":4617,"date":"2023-09-24T14:35:48","date_gmt":"2023-09-24T14:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=4617"},"modified":"2023-09-24T14:35:48","modified_gmt":"2023-09-24T14:35:48","slug":"pad-thai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/24\/pad-thai\/14\/35\/4617\/48\/appdev2098\/thai-food-recipes\/breakfast-thai-food-recipes\/","title":{"rendered":"PAD THAI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PAD THAI INGREDIENTS:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10 ounces\u00a0thin rice noodles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 tablespoons&nbsp;oil, divided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced and cut into bite-sized pieces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup&nbsp;fresh bean sprouts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;cup shredded carrots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4&nbsp;cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3&nbsp;eggs, whisked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3&nbsp;green onions, sliced into&nbsp;1-inch pieces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>toppings: lots of chopped peanuts, extra crushed red pepper flakes, fresh lime wedges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SAUCE INGREDIENTS:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\/3 cup&nbsp;packed brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 cup\u00a0fish sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons\u00a0tamarind concentrate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons&nbsp;soy sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>juice of&nbsp;1&nbsp;fresh lime<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon\u00a0crushed red pepper flakes\u00a0(or more\/less to taste)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Make the sauce.&nbsp;<\/strong>Whisk all ingredients together in a medium bowl (or shake together in a mason jar) until completely combined.&nbsp; Set aside until ready to use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cook the noodles.&nbsp;<\/strong>Cook the noodles al dente according to package instructions.&nbsp; Drain the noodles in a strainer, then rinse with cold water briefly to halt their cooking.&nbsp; Toss briefly with one tablespoon oil to prevent the noodles from sticking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cook the chicken (or see other protein options below).&nbsp;<\/strong>Meanwhile, heat&nbsp;1 tablespoon&nbsp;oil in a large saut\u00e9 pan or wok over high heat. Add the chicken and saut\u00e9 for 3-5 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the chicken to a clean plate and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cook the veggies.&nbsp;<\/strong>Add the remaining&nbsp;1 tablespoon&nbsp;oil to the saut\u00e9 pan, along with the bean sprouts, carrots, and garlic.&nbsp; Saut\u00e9 for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cook the eggs.&nbsp;<\/strong>Push the veggies to one side of the pan and add the whisked eggs on the other side.&nbsp; Cook the eggs until scrambled, stirring often.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Put it all together.&nbsp;<\/strong>Now add everything back in with the eggs and veggies \u2014 the cooked noodles, cooked chicken, sauce and green onions. Give the mixture a good toss until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.&nbsp; Remove pan from heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Serve.&nbsp;<\/strong>Serve immediately, sprinkled with lots of crushed peanuts, extra crushed red pepper flakes (if desired) and a good squeeze of fresh lime juice.
