{"id":4957,"date":"2023-10-04T12:17:50","date_gmt":"2023-10-04T12:17:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=4957"},"modified":"2023-10-04T12:17:51","modified_gmt":"2023-10-04T12:17:51","slug":"dried-vegetable-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/10\/04\/dried-vegetable-soup\/12\/17\/4957\/50\/appdev2098\/chinese-food-three\/soup-chinese-recipes-one\/","title":{"rendered":"DRIED VEGETABLE SOUP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 1\/2\u00a0L \/ 10.5 US cup\u00a0chicken and pork stock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100\u00a0g \/ 0.22 lb\u00a0choy gorn\/dehydrated bok choy\u00a0(roughly one packet)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0honey dates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4\u00a0dried red dates\u00a0(a.k.a. jujubes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0rehydrated shiitake mushrooms\u00a0(water squeezed out)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0salt\u00a0(or to taste)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tbsp\u00a0chicken bouillon powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bring the stock to a simmer, then add the dried red and honey dates, shiitake mushrooms, salt and chicken bouillon powder in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meanwhile, rinse the dried vegetables in cool water, then soak for 30 minutes. Give the batch another rinse after this and soak for another 3 hours or until the stems have softened.<strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;The stems will expand and rehydrate until they&#8217;re white again. This is when they&#8217;re ready.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When rehydrated, pour the contents into a colander and wring the vegetables dry.Cut off the hard ends at the base of the bok choy using scissors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn the heat of the soup up to a boil, then add the choy gorn into the pot.
