{"id":5605,"date":"2023-10-12T15:47:28","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T15:47:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=5605"},"modified":"2023-10-12T15:47:31","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T15:47:31","slug":"easy-real-tonkotsu-ramen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/10\/12\/easy-real-tonkotsu-ramen\/15\/47\/5605\/28\/appdev2098\/japanese-food-recipes-4\/ramen\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Real Tonkotsu Ramen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the Broth (make 4 servings)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3&nbsp;to&nbsp;4&nbsp;oz pork fat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cups&nbsp;chicken stock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cups\u00a0dashi stock\u00a0(you can substitute with chicken stock)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cups&nbsp;unsweetened soy milk, unsweetened cashew or unsweetened oat milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For a Bowl of Ramen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1&nbsp;portion fresh frozen or instant ramen noodles (for tonkotsu, I recommend thin noodles)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0to\u00a04\u00a0tbsp\u00a0tsuyu\u00a0(Japanese soup base sauce) or\u00a0chashu tare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;green onion, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handful beansprouts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handful black fungus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;to&nbsp;2&nbsp;slices of chashu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2\u00a0to\u00a01\u00a0ramen egg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0clove garlic, optional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place pork fat in a medium pot with enough water to cover pork. Bring it to boil over medium high then cook pork belly 5 to 7 minutes or until fully cooked. Cut pork fat into small chunks and place in a blender. Add chicken stock and blend high speed until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes. Pour pork fat and chicken stock mixture back to now-empty-pot (rinse pot quickly then use) then add in dashi stock and unsweetened soy milk. Stir and bring it to simmer over medium heat.&nbsp;Also, bring another pot of water to boil to cook noodles and toppings.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meanwhile, let\u2019s prepare ramen toppings.&nbsp;<br>Chop green onion. Slice black fungus into long thin strips. Prepare chashu by searing on a dry pan over high heat, torch or high broil for 3 to 5 minutes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When water is boiling, blanch bean sprouts for 1 minute then remove from water. Drain well and set aside. Next, blanch black fungus for 1 minutes then remove from water. Drain well and set aside. Finally, start cooking noodles. Fresh or frozen one will take only 2 minutes. Instant ramen noodles will take 3 to 4 minutes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While noodles are cooking, add tsuyu or chashu tare in a serving bowl. Carefully, pour 1 1\/2 cup of broth we made earlier. Mix well. Drain cooked noodles well and add to bowl. Stir noodles to coat evenly with broth and arrange.\u00a0Arrange toppings on top of noodles \u2013 beansprouts, black fungus, green onions, chashu and ramen egg. Lastly, to your taste, grate in a clove of garlic. This sharp spicy garlic will perfectly balance this thick rich broth.
