{"id":5740,"date":"2023-10-13T04:36:50","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T04:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=5740"},"modified":"2023-10-13T04:36:51","modified_gmt":"2023-10-13T04:36:51","slug":"nasu-dengaku-miso-glazed-eggplant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/10\/13\/nasu-dengaku-miso-glazed-eggplant\/04\/36\/5740\/50\/appdev2098\/japanese-food-recipes-4\/authentic-japanese-food-recipes-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Nasu Dengaku \u2013 Miso Glazed Eggplant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2&nbsp;small eggplant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons&nbsp;vegetable oil or other neutral oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4&nbsp;cup&nbsp;miso paste (I use awase miso which is a mix of both red and white miso paste)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons&nbsp;mirin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon&nbsp;granulated sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon&nbsp;sake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sesame seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Slice eggplant in half and using a knife, score the inside in small squares.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a pan over high heat, add oil and put the eggplant skin facing down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook for a few minute until skin is brown. Turn the eggplant over and cover with a lid. Cook until eggplant is cooked through (about 3 to 4 minutes).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix miso, mirin, sugar and sake.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cover a cooking tray with foil and place the eggplant on top. Brush miso dengaku mix on top of each eggplant until all the surface is coated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put in the oven and broil for 4 minutes.
