{"id":587,"date":"2023-07-31T13:53:52","date_gmt":"2023-07-31T13:53:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=587"},"modified":"2023-07-31T13:53:53","modified_gmt":"2023-07-31T13:53:53","slug":"one-pan-honey-mustard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/07\/31\/one-pan-honey-mustard\/13\/53\/587\/52\/appdev2098\/popular-meal\/chicken-breast\/","title":{"rendered":"One Pan Honey Mustard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 pounds&nbsp;boneless, skinless chicken breasts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bd teaspoons&nbsp;sea salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc cup&nbsp;extra-virgin olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;large shallots, roughly chopped (about 1 cup)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 pound&nbsp;fingerling or Yukon gold potatoes, cut into 1\u00bd inch pieces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoons&nbsp;minced fresh rosemary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd pound&nbsp;green beans, washed and trimmed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>freshly cracked black pepper, to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Honey-Mustard Sauce<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bc cup&nbsp;whole grain mustard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons&nbsp;Dijon mustard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2153 cup&nbsp;honey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon&nbsp;raw apple cider vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon&nbsp;paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon&nbsp;garlic powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0F with a rack in the center position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Season the chicken all over with 1 teaspoon of the salt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large ovenproof skillet or braiser over medium-high. When the oil is glistening, cook the chicken until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer the chicken to a plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, make the honey-mustard sauce. In a small bowl, combine the whole grain mustard, Dijon, honey, remaining \u00bd teaspoon of the salt, apple cider vinegar, paprika and garlic powder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. When glistening, add the shallots, potatoes and rosemary, toss to combine. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes, until the potatoes are beginning to soften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove the skillet from the oven, nestle the chicken (along with any resting juices), and green beans into the potato mixture. Pour the honey-mustard sauce over the chicken and green beans and toss to coat. Place back in the oven until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165\u00b0F on an instant-read thermometer, and the vegetables are tender, about 25-30 minutes longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To make in a slow cooker:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a small bowl, combine the whole grain mustard, Dijon, honey, remaining \u00bd teaspoon of the salt, apple cider vinegar, paprika and garlic powder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the chicken, shallots, potatoes, rosemary, green bean, and sauce to the slow cooker and toss to combine. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
