{"id":6396,"date":"2023-11-10T04:18:23","date_gmt":"2023-11-10T04:18:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=6396"},"modified":"2023-11-10T04:18:24","modified_gmt":"2023-11-10T04:18:24","slug":"easy-rotisserie-chicken-noodle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/10\/easy-rotisserie-chicken-noodle\/04\/18\/6396\/23\/appdev2098\/chicken-recipes-four\/leftover\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Rotisserie Chicken Noodle"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\u00a0rotisserie chicken (fully cooked, approx. 2 \u00bd pounds)\u00a0(still on bone)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12\u00a0c\u00a0chicken broth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4\u00a0celery stalks, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4-5\u00a0carrots, sliced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0onion, diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0garlic powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0parsley (dried)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0oregano<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0thyme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0bay leaf<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0sea salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tsp\u00a0cracked pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0c\u00a0dry pasta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0c\u00a0corn starch (can use arrow root powder)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1T\u00a0olive oil (for stove top)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Stove Top:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chop vegetables. Pull off the chicken breast meat and shred if desired. Heat olive oil over medium high heat in a large pot. Add celery, carrots and onion and saute until onions become translucent. Add in broth, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, oregano, parsley, and chicken (including the whole chicken carcass.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn heat to medium and allow soup to come to a low boil for about 30 minutes or until carrots are fully softened. At this time, it is easiest to remove the chicken bones (I use a set of tongs to get the pieces of it out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When bones are removed, add in dry pasta and allow to cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until al dente. Pour about 1 \u00bd-2 cups of the soup into a small bowl and whisk in the corn starch until dissolved. Add this mixture back into the soup and stir to fully combine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Slow Cooker:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add all ingredients into the slow cooker except the pasta and the corn starch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours. Remove the bones before adding the pasta. Add dry pasta and allow to cook until al dente, about 15-20 minutes (this will vary based on your crock pot and the type of pasta, so keep an eye on it.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour about 1 \u00bd &#8211; 2 cups of the soup into a small bowl and whisk in the corn starch until dissolved. Add this mixture back into the soup and stir to fully combine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoy!
