{"id":6763,"date":"2023-11-12T04:05:51","date_gmt":"2023-11-12T04:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=6763"},"modified":"2023-11-12T04:05:52","modified_gmt":"2023-11-12T04:05:52","slug":"brown-rice-with-spinach-and-parmesan-cheese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/12\/brown-rice-with-spinach-and-parmesan-cheese\/04\/05\/6763\/51\/appdev2098\/rice-recipes-two\/brown-rice\/","title":{"rendered":"BROWN RICE WITH SPINACH AND PARMESAN CHEESE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 small onion, finely chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 \u00bc cups quick cook brown rice (see notes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon kosher salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc teaspoon black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 \u00bd cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 (8 oz.) bag fresh spinach, roughly chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for serving)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTIONS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add onion and saut\u00e9 5-6 minutes, until softened. Add garlic and saut\u00e9 another 30 seconds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add quick cook rice, thyme, salt and pepper and stir to get the rice coated in the oils.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Then cover, lower the heat to medium low and cook 15-20 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is cooked through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add chopped fresh spinach on top of the rice, then cover and let sit for 5 minutes off the heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir spinach into the rice and add Parmesan cheese.
