{"id":732,"date":"2023-08-11T05:14:40","date_gmt":"2023-08-11T05:14:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=732"},"modified":"2023-08-11T05:14:41","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T05:14:41","slug":"homemade-baked-mozzarella-sticks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/11\/homemade-baked-mozzarella-sticks\/05\/14\/732\/40\/appdev2098\/kids-dinner-ideas\/kids-favorite\/","title":{"rendered":"Homemade Baked Mozzarella Sticks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6\u00a0string cheese sticks\u00a0mozzarella and jalapeno work well<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0cup\u00a0all-purpose flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0cup\u00a0seasoned bread crumbs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0cup\u00a0panko bread crumbs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0butter\u00a0melted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00bd\u00a0teaspoons\u00a0kosher salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0teaspoon\u00a0ground black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0cup\u00a0marinara or spaghetti sauce\u00a0warmed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For making the Mozzarella Sticks:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Line a baking sheet with foil, and lightly spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Halve each cheese stick crosswise (so they&#8217;re shorter)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the flour in a shallow bowl. In a second bowl, beat the eggs and water together. In a third shallow bowl, whisk together the seasoned bread crumbs, panko crumbs, melted butter, salt and pepper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the dredging process, roll the cheese sticks in flour, roll in the egg mixture and then the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coatings, pressing the breadcrumbs into the cheese stick. There will be 5 coatings in all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the dredged cheese sticks on the prepared pan, cover and freeze 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When Ready to Bake:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat oven to 415\u00b0F and set the oven rack to the middle position. Remove the cheese sticks from the freezer while the oven preheats. Bake 10-20 minutes or until heated through, crispy and golden.
