{"id":7364,"date":"2023-11-29T12:21:39","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T12:21:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=7364"},"modified":"2023-11-29T12:21:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T12:21:41","slug":"kung-pao-beef","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/29\/kung-pao-beef\/12\/21\/7364\/39\/appdev2098\/beef-recipes-two\/best-beef\/","title":{"rendered":"Kung Pao Beef"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beef<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\u00a0pound\u00a0beef,\u00a0flank steak, ribeye or sirloin, cut into 1-inch wide strips (see note)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tablespoon\u00a0Shaoxing wine,\u00a0or sherry or rice wine vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tablespoon\u00a0light soy sauce,\u00a0low sodium recommended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;tablespoon&nbsp;cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kung Pao Sauce<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0Chinese black vinegar,\u00a0or balsamic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0tablespons\u00a0Shaoxing wine,\u00a0or sherry or rice wine vinegar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tablespoon\u00a0dark soy sauce,\u00a0low-sodium recommended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2\u00a0teaspoons\u00a0chili paste,\u00a0optional<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bc\u00a0cup\u00a0beef stock,\u00a0low-sodium recommended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;teaspoons&nbsp;cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stir Fry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0canola oil,\u00a0or other high temperature oil, divided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6-8&nbsp;dried red chilis,&nbsp;<em>about \u00bc cup<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 \u00bd\u00a0tablespoons\u00a0Szechuan peppercorns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0large\u00a0garlic cloves,\u00a0minced (1 tablespoon)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0tablespoon\u00a0ginger,\u00a0minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u00a0bell pepper,\u00a0cored, seeded and sliced (red or green capsicum)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd&nbsp;cup&nbsp;roasted peanuts,&nbsp;<em>or raw peanuts<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0green onions,\u00a0cut into matchsticks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combine all ingredients for the beef in a medium bowl; cover and marinate for 10-15 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whisk the sauce ingredients together in small bowl. Set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once it\u2019s hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil and the marinated beef. Fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to let it brown evenly. Then remove the beef to a plate and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the pan along with the dried chilis and Szechuan peppercorns. Let them sizzle and fry for 30 seconds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the minced garlic and ginger and fry for 10 seconds until fragrant. Then add the bell pepper (capsicum) and peanuts, frying for one minute stirring regularly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour the reserved sauce into the pan and bring to a boil stirring constantly.
