{"id":9885,"date":"2023-12-23T06:13:37","date_gmt":"2023-12-23T06:13:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/?p=9885"},"modified":"2023-12-23T06:13:37","modified_gmt":"2023-12-23T06:13:37","slug":"healthy-turkey-chili","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saad.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/12\/23\/healthy-turkey-chili\/06\/13\/9885\/37\/appdev2098\/slow-cooker-recipes-three\/3-chili-slow-cooker\/","title":{"rendered":"Healthy Turkey Chili"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 pound lean ground turkey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\/4 cup chopped celery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\/4 cup chopped onion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\/4 cup chopped green pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons chili powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon ground cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/8 to 1\/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cans (14-1\/2 ounces each) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 jar (24 ounces) meatless pasta sauce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can (16 ounces) hot chili beans, undrained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1-1\/2 cups water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup frozen corn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optional toppings: Sour cream, cubed avocado, diced jalapeno peppers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In a large skillet, cook and crumble turkey with celery, onion and green pepper over medium-high heat until turkey is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in seasonings, tomatoes, pasta sauce, chili beans, water and corn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook, covered, on high 1 hour. Reduce setting to low; cook, covered, 5-6 hours or until flavors are blended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir in kidney and pinto beans; cook, covered, on low 30 minutes longer.
